Mijn indruk van Etihad Airways
Persoonlijk vond ik mijn ervaring met Etihad behoorlijk wisselvallig. Een keer was het personeel echt geweldig, ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en het eten aan boord was top. Maar een andere keer had ik te maken met onverwachte extra kosten voor mijn handbagage, wat behoorlijk vervelend was omdat dat niet duidelijk was gecommuniceerd bij het boeken. Daarnaast had ik een vlucht die drie uur vertraagd was en het was lastig om goede updates te krijgen van de maatschappij. Ik zou willen dat Etihad consistenter is in hun service en transparanter over de prijzen. Ook betere communicatie tijdens vertragingen zou echt een groot verschil maken voor passagiers.De door ons geselecteerde videos.

Worst Airline with the worst Customer Service in the World……
This airline is unequivocally the worst I have ever encountered. When booking my flight from AUH to JFK, a staggering sum of 4145 AED was deducted from my Etihad Credit Account, yet my booking was not processed. Despite contacting their customer service over 10 times in the past six days—each time having to re-explain my situation to a new agent—there has been no progress regarding my refund. Calls were often placed on hold for over 15 minutes, ignoring my time constraints, which is both unacceptable and infuriating. Moreover, my numerous emails to the Etihad Credit team have gone unanswered. Each time I called their call center, I was told that my issue was beyond their control and that I needed to contact the Credit team, which can only be reached via email. Etihad, if you see this, be informed that I am preparing to file a significant lawsuit against you in the UAE to ensure your company ceases operations. You have defrauded me, just as you have many other dissatisfied customers.
Etihad Airwarys - HOW TO SPOIL A HOLIDAY IF THATS WHAT YOU WANT
WE made the unfortunate mistake of booking a flight with Etihad Airways and it’s no one that we will ever make again. We were supposed to travel from London Heathrow Terminal 4 on 03/04/24 to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi. Our flight at 21.55 pulled away from the bridge but had to return around an hour later due to technical reasons. We had to stay overnight in a hotel provided by the airline but having been at the airport from 18.00 hrs we were offered no food or drink and the hotel said they could not provide any either. We returned to the airport for another flight at 07.30 04/04/24 (the next day) for a 10.30 am flight but this flight was delayed until 14.50. The flight arrived in Abu Dhabi around 00.51 (05/04/24) and from there we got told we had a 10-hour stopover so they took us to a hotel which we arrived at 03.30. We had to be at reception for 07.30 to return to the airport for a 10.25 flight. This flight was then delayed until 13.00 and we eventually arrived in Thailand at 00.06 on 06/04/24. We missed our Thai VietJet flight to Phuket on 05/04/24 and could not get another flight due to it being Thai New Year and everything was fully booked. I lost out on my Bangkok airport hotel and taxi to it from the airport on 04/04/24 Phuket hotel, My Phuket Hotel for 5 nights, car hire for our stay and extra car hire insurance as a top up to the included car hire insurance. I couldn’t cancel any of these items because the cancellation date had passed by the time we found out we were not going to be there. The whole holiday was a total disaster and Etihad airways are solely responsible for ruining our holiday. The response to our claim has been to just ignore us and they just don’t care at all. We fly this route every year often twice a year and have used many different Airlines including Qatar and Emirates, BA, Thai, and EVA to name a few and never had this trouble. Disgraceful treatment by an airline but now you know what to expect if things go wrong. THE PLANES ARE ALWAYS DELAYED AND WHEN THEY ARE... YOUR IN TROUBLE AND DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH FOR THE COMPENSATION UK AND EU LAW SAYS YOU ARE ENTITLED TO AS THEY DON'T CARE. £560 PER PERSON FOR DELAYS OVER 3 HOURS IS THE LAW. PLUS ALL OUR OTHER LOSSES TOO. Update: They have paid something but nowhere near enough to cover my loses

Pessimo!...mai più Ethiaf!! Ho volato da Milano a Tokyo andata e ritorno... Il mangiare fa schifo...per la prima volta in vita mia non sono stato in grado di mangiare a bordo di un volo, (sia in andata che al ritorno per i 4 voli necessari per raggiungere le mie destinazioni). Non si può scegliere o vedere il menù, l'applicazione fa schifo , ho dovuto chiedere che mi venissero caricati i punti perché non lo hanno fatto, i sedili sono come quelli dei voli low costa, l'intrattenimento è una presa in giro, 1 solo film , pochi in italiano e il resto (giochi e video ) pessimi. Molto ma molto ma molto meglio Emirates

If I could give this airline less than…
If I could give this airline less than one star I would. For economy travel their service is non existant. I had an issue with a flight leaving LHR T4 in November. In spite of writing to the Customers Services Director and raising a case number with the customer service portal Nothing. No answers no replies. As a regular flier for my business using many airlines this without a doubt is the worst service ever experienced Do not use this airline!

Det tog en vecka att få väskan med alla våra kläder och toalettassessoarer. Ingen ersättning för förenat baggage. Supporten är under all kritik. Ringer man dem så får man en indier som talar obegriplig engelska. När vi väl fick väskan så var den ituslagen och saknade hjul. INGEN från Etihad har hört av sig för att hjälpa oss eller någon typ av ersättning. ÅK INTE MED DETTA FLYGBOLAG!!!

Fabulous flying experience
Flew Etihad Airways in March onboard their B787-10 Business Class and must say I am impressed. The service on board is very warm, the catering in Business Class was definitely the best I had in the skies so far. Being a frequent flyer, I can definitely say that this airline and the Business Studio is one of the best in the world. Transiting in Abu Dhabi was smooth and easy, not a single bit to complain about. Glad I booked on Etihad!

Excellente compagnie et très bonne découverte pour ce premier voyage avec Etihad. Comme toute compagnie, le personnel est aimable. En complément, il faut souligner le niveau de service : Etihad fait le nécessaire pour régler vos problèmes (inversion de deux lettres dans un prénom lors de l’achat des billets d'avion avec une agence de voyage, qui elle, était incapable de répondre à notre demande), les avions sont propres et récents (grand choix de films en français, allemand, chinois, anglais, ...). Nous avons reçu chacun un kit bien être pour les vols de nuit (masque pour les yeux, bouchons d’oreilles, brosse à dents et dentifrice). Les enfants ont reçu chacun des jeux et coloriages dans un petit sac à dos. Et grosse surprise, moi qui voyage beaucoup en avion, c'est la première foi que je mange aussi bien. Les repas sont des repas dignes de ce nom. Bravo Etihad Airways, et merci.
