I just wanted to leave a review to highlight Stewart who sold me my car at Hilton Garage in Darby. The exceptional service and his knowledge was unmatched.He made sure the car I purchased had been MOT'd and was fully inspected before I picked it up. The car I bought had low mileage and the price was very reasonable. Hilton Garage is highly recommended and trustworthy. Like me, you can feel safe buying a car from them.

I can't recommend Hilton Garage enough! After finding the car I wanted online, I visited the garage with my husband and met Stewart. Stewart was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and made the car purchasing experience a breeze! He explained everything thoroughly and clearly, and helped me complete all the necessary steps. I know very little about cars, but he never sounded condescending in any manner - honestly, I can't recommend him enough! The car itself was well presented, spotlessly clean and I felt very reassured that it had been prepared by a reputable garage. I have driven it constantly for 2 weeks and had absolutely no issues at all.

The cars were so close together it was hard to get in and out to fully inspect them. You could see bash marks on some of them. I went to purchase a Nissian Qashqai, it was so busy everything was rushed and unorganised. When we sat down there was a family not happy with their purchase, it appeared they was getting fobbed off. The customer service was very poor and they tried to deliberately missell me a warranty. However, once reading the paperwork it was double at over £1200. I went back to the rep and he was very sheepish. There was too many red flags and I don't think they care. Use common sense if you buy from Hilton Garage and don't be blinded by the pretty ladies fluttering their eyelashes. Take care.

Initial experience with buying went smoothly. I stay almost 200 miles away so the car was arranged to be delivered. 17th of May, 8.15am i recieved a call from the delivery driver asking if i was aware the car had a 10inch crack around the rear view mirror. Obviously i said no and car was delivered within another hour. Upon recieving car, the driver pointed out the large crack and also a heavy scuff on bumper that was through to the metal. After speaking to Hilton Garage i was asked if i could get a quote for fixing both areas of damage and get in touch. The window was over £1300 and bumper was £170. Hilton garage were not willing to pay for this damage until speaking to the delivery company so therefore i rejected the car that day. I was told the car would be picked up 21st May and i would recieve a refund within 3 working weeks (!?) All this after me sending payment within 3 minutes. Was told this payment would most likely be quicker so i phoned 5 times during this period only to be told that the "manager" wasn't available and would call back. Not once did this happen. Now, after almost 3 weeks, i recieved the V5 for the car i rejected saying I am the registered keeper. Having phoned them now with this information , they now say this was the issue all along. After 3 weeks still not recieved a call from anyone with any authority. I'm now expected to send V5 back while they still have my 15k money. Worst ever dealings with a company and that says something. Do not buy anything from this company, let alone a car.

Avoid this dealership and take business elsewhere. They delivered my new car done all paperwork took my part exchange vehicle. 4 hours later the driver came back to my home while I was gone to work and started threatening my family to take back part ex car back or sell for half the price agreed. Started knocking and banging on our doors my old parents felt really scared. We decided to cancel the contract for a refund. It has been one of our worst experiences and I have wouldn’t advise any one to buy from this place.
